Rules of Play

Last Updated: 30-01-2026

To keep everyone safe and happy, please take a moment to read our simple rules before playing.

Supervision

All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Our team is here to help, but we are not responsible for supervision. Adults are welcome to accompany little ones in the play areas when needed.

Clothing & hygiene

Socks must be worn by both adults and children in all play areas. Please ensure no shoes, and no sharp objects, are taken into the play areas.

We ask that children wash or sanitise their hands before and after play.

Safe play

Play nicely — no rough play, pushing, or climbing on the outside of the equipment. Food, drinks, and chewing gum must stay in the café area. Report any accidents or spillages to a member of our team immediately.

Only age-appropriate areas should be used (e.g. baby zone, toddler area, main play frame).

Little ones

Babies must always be supervised closely in the baby zone. Please use the baby changing facilities provided — not the café seating area.

Café & personal belongings

The Play Hut cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal items. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for baby food or bottles.

Parties & events

During private hires, rules still apply for everyone’s safety. Please follow staff instructions at all times — they’re here to make sure your visit is safe and fun.

We encourage kind, respectful, and inclusive play at all times. Bullying, teasing, name-calling, or unkind language is not tolerated. Our team may step in to support positive play and ensure everyone feels safe and welcome.

Most importantly…

Have fun, make memories, and enjoy your time at The Play Hut!
